Whyfire is a product of Vector Crags, based in the United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email hello@whyfire.io.
When you join the waitlist: your email address and, if you choose to give them, your name, company, the kind of team you work in, roughly how many servers you look after, and whether you'd like to be a design partner. We also record the country your request came from and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, used only to stop automated sign-ups. We don't store your IP address itself.
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when your browser fetches them.
We use your details only to contact you about Whyfire: launch news, early access, and, if you ticked the box, the design-partner programme. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. We never sell or share your details, and there's no newsletter.
Your details are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, which processes them on our behalf. We keep them until Whyfire launches and for 12 months after that, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing hello@whyfire.io. We'll act within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
